手先が器用でアイロンかけの腕前はプロ級のすまさん。施設内で「芦野クリーニング」を開業し、スタッフらのYシャツをピンピンに仕上げてくれる。佐々木さんとはいつもお風呂の中で本音を交わす仲。「まだまだやりたいことがたくさん。100歳まで生きたい」「芦野クリーニングは当分安泰だね」。
