いま、駄菓子屋さんの“看板娘”

「村上ストア」の元店主だった笹美さん。いまは大好きな“しょうちゃん”と一緒に、ホームのご近所の駄菓子屋さんで店番を楽しむ。「子どものお相手が上手で、お店には欠かせない“看板娘”です」としょうちゃん。お店のテレビで相撲やプロ野球に熱中して、商売そっちのけになるのが玉にキズだ。

Formerly a store owner. Now “poster girl” of
a mom-and-pop candy store.

Sasami, former owner of “Murakami Store”, now enjoys filling in at a nearby mom-and-pop candy store with her favorite “Sho-chan”. Sho-chan says “she is good with children and a ‘poster girl’ essential for the store”. The one flaw in what is otherwise a perfect job is that she gets distracted watching sumo and professional baseball on TV at the store and neglects her business.
